When purchasing photoding from Carpe Tempestas, LLC, Paypal shall handle all transactions to ensure personal security.  At no time will Carpe Tempestas, LLC ask for financial information or personal information other than what’s outlined in this agreement.

Carpe Tempestas, LLC is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.   Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement or in accordance with law enforcement.

Carpe Tempestas, LLC may change this policy from time to time by updating this page.  You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are in agreement with any changes.  This policy is effective from 25 January, 2009.

Information we collect and how we use it:

  • Information you provide - A username and password are stored to for the activation of your product.
  • Email address – We can store an email (different from your Paypal email) and actually encourage users to utilize a different email.  It is a policy of Carpe Tempestas, LLC to send an email to a user when their account settings have changed, such as an email, password, or other important information.  Sales, feature or other literature will be delivered through a different means that will feature an ability to subscribe or unsubscribe.
  • Log information – When accessing online services, photoding will log the user’s IP address, the date & time, the license type, and a unique key which identifies the license purchased. 
  • Address – In accordance with state law, only the street address, city, and zip code of a customer living in the state of South Dakota is logged.  This is needed to calculate the appropriate sales tax.  This data will NOT be sold, transferred or used for any communications from Carpe Tempestas, LLC.  Also, this data will be deleted after a period of time deemed appropriate by the state of South Dakota.
  • User communications – We may keep emails, messages, or entries in the forums by users to better understand our users.

We have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of Carpe Tempestas, LLC, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.
